Dr. Shaun O'Leary

Presenter of Integrated Solutions for Head & Neck Pain Course, Shaun is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Principal Research Fellow (Queensland Health, University of Queensland), and lecturer (UQ) in Brisbane.

Shaun’s research focus over the past eleven years has been in the assessment and training of cervical and axioscapular muscle function for chronic neck pain disorders. He currently has 27 publications in peer reviewed international journals and is a co-author of a book concerning the management of cervical spine disorders (Whiplash, Headache and Neck Pain; Jull, Sterling, Treleaven, Falla, & O’Leary). Shaun is also a co-author on a chapter in an internationally acknowledged discipline specific book (Grieve's Modern Manual Therapy 3rd ed).

Shaun has extensive clinical experience in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and is a Fellow and examiner of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. Apart from his clinical teaching at the University of Queensland undergraduate and postgraduate programs, Shaun has delivered numerous clinical seminars and courses in Australia and internationally including Japan, England, Ireland, Norway, and the USA.
